container terminal

Our high-quality terminal in West Brabant, located at a strategic location on the Wilhelmina Canal, handles and transports dozens of loads of semi-finished and finished manufacturers every day. The container terminal is one of the largest logistics hubs in the Netherlands.

The quay in Oosterhout is 350 meters wide and covers a total of 25.000 m2 and is handled by 3 bridge cranes and 4 reach stackers. In addition, Rietveld Logistics Group uses an "external" quay in the Vijf Eiken industrial area in Oosterhout.

In addition to operational storage on the quays in Oosterhout, a location has been added since 2019, within walking distance of the main location on Visserijweg, with a container storage capacity of 15.000 m2.

CONTAINER TERMINAL

CUSTOMER PORTAL

barge terminal

The container terminal has a direct connection to the Wilhelmina Canal, which means that the connection with the world ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp is excellent. OCT has 24 sailings a week to terminals in Rotterdam and 5 sailings to terminals in Antwerp.

The demand for customized solutions for transport is increasing due to the deteriorated accessibility of the road network, environmental issues and the pivotal role of the Netherlands in Europe when it comes to transport.

Rietveld Logistics Group anticipates on these developments. Rail transport will also be offered in the future.

OCT (subsidiary Rietveld Logistics Group) has the AEO status since December 1, 2009.

Fuel surcharge

A fuel surcharge applies to all our rates, as introduced from 01-01-2007. Every 2,5% increase in the fuel price will result in a change in the fuel surcharge of 1%, with January 01, 2007 as the so-called zero line with a liter price of € 0,962. We use the fuel prices that are published on www.oliecentrale.nl.

West Brabant Corridor

Within the WBC, BTT Multimodal Container Solutions, Combined Cargo Terminals (CCT) Moerdijk and Oosterhout Container Terminal (OCT) bundle container cargo on the route between Tilburg, Oosterhout, Moerdijk and Rotterdam.

The WBC originated from the sector-wide inland container shipping consultations that the Port of Rotterdam Authority initiated in 2017 in response to the increasing waiting times for inland container vessels at the deep-sea terminals in the port of Rotterdam.
