Cold storage

Due to an increasing demand for storage options for food and drink, the cold store was built in 2006. The cold store has an area of ​​4.000 m2 and offers storage facilities for more than 25.000 barrels. To guarantee the quality of the products, there is a constant temperature of -18 ° C.

A walking floor has been installed to facilitate transport and internal movement. With this system, a refrigerated semi-trailer can be loaded quickly and efficiently. It not only ensures a shorter charging time, it also means a shorter contact time with the environment, which benefits hygiene and the environment.

Rietveld Logistics group is HACCP certified. This means that the company makes every effort to identify and prevent potential food safety hazards during storage and distribution. Continuous monitoring is carried out for this. The certification of companies is a directive of the European Union.
